Space Madness offers a level of realism not available in other action games. Your ship has several different systems that can be individually damaged and repaired. Enemy ships can damage each other (but they try not to), and they can be partially damaged and repair themselves, just like your ship. Explosions carry a destructive force, so if you’re too close to your target when you blow something up, you could be damaged by the explosion.

High Risk Ventures is proud to present our first shareware game! Cyclone features way-cool graphics and sound, and addicting and challenging game play. It’s based on an old arcade game called Star Castle, in which you fly a spaceship on a wrap-around screen, and attack an enemy base sitting in the middle. The base protects itself with three rotating shield rings, you-seeking mines, and a nasty plasma cannon. We’ve added a few things to the original game, including weapons for your ship, shields, bonus points, a challenge level, and more. There’s also an ‘original game’ mode for those who want to play the game as it was originally designed. Rated four joysticks by Inside Mac Games magazine.
